The BTC 1833 and 1835 were Plug & Play sound cards offering 16-bit stereo sound sampling delivered at CD-quality rates up to 44.1KHz. The cards are based on the ESS ES1868F 22-voice FM music synthesizer and provides IDE CD-ROM, MPU & MIDI interfaces.
Board Revisions
Some variants come with the ES689F wavetable ICs while others do not.
