On this page you will find all the downloads I have for Tseng Labs hardware.

For drivers, you should first check with your video card's manufacturer. Many times they have drivers for your specific video card. If the manufacturer cannot be identified, you can try the generic video drivers available from this page. These generic drivers are written for a specific chip type and operating system. You must determine which chip type is on your video card before you get the correct drivers.

ET3000

Orchid ProDESIGNER Disks
Version 2.1 For DOS, Windows 1.x, Windows/286 and Windows/386

A ZIP file containing the three original driver disks for Orchid ProDesigner VGA graphics card. Disk 1 contains GEM and AutoCAD 9/10 drivers, disk 2 contains Windows 1.x/286/386 drivers and Lotus 1-2-3 drivers, and disk 3 contains other utilities such as VMODE and FEDIT (Font Edit)

Windows 3.1 / 3.11 VESA SVGA Patch
19th December 1994

Patches the SVGA256.DRV to make it VESA-compliant. Works on a number of graphics cards of this era where you cannot find a driver for your own specific graphics card. Tseng ET4000 is one that it supports, as well as Trident 8900C, CL-GD542x, ATI 18800/28800, Video 7/Headland GC205/208/209 and Paradise/WD PVGA1A and WD90C00, . The original SVGA256.DRV is included in Windows 3.11 (WFW), but the driver itself can be downloaded from the net from various places (do a search for SVGA.EXE).

Windows 95, 98 and Millennium Edition drivers for XL series boards (ET4000/W32, ET4000/W32i, ET4000/W32p). This one improves performance in TrueColor display modes. It automatically sets the refresh rate to match the monitor type listed in the Display Type screen.

VESA 2.0 Driver

For ET4000/W32p only. Extends VBE 1.2 to be VBE 2.0. The main features implemented are palette functions, linear frame buffer and 32-bit interface. Written by Herman Dullink.
